A tool that observes.
Not one that decides.
Alunima is animation review and production tracking software, local and offline. Nothing to install on a server, nothing leaves the machine, nothing decides on the team's behalf.
Philosophy
Four principles, held since the first screen
Each one was chosen in opposition to what tracking tools usually do — not added to pad out a feature list.
It observes, it doesn't decide
No dependencies between steps, no bar ever moves another, no red alerts. Overlaps are shown, not resolved — a tool that resolves them forces you to lie to it.
Nothing leaves the machine
No server, no mandatory cloud. Files, annotations and tracking data stay right where the studio already works.
No bloat
No field to fill in that isn't useful right away, no layer added for convenience. Anything that duplicates a path that already exists gets removed, not kept "just in case."
Built by someone from the industry
Twenty years as an animator and illustrator, ten years teaching animation before writing any code — Alunima is designed from the drawing table, not from a spec sheet.
What it does
Two jobs, one tool
Animation review and production tracking usually live in two different pieces of software — often two different subscriptions.
Animation review
Frame-by-frame annotation, one layer per person, onion skin, version comparison, storyboard. Every stroke stays legible over everyone else's — nobody overwrites anybody's work.
Production tracking
Statuses, quotas, a timeline of steps over time. An honest indicator — the real quota, not a linear percentage that lies about animation — rather than a dashboard that reassures you wrongly.
Animator and illustrator for about twenty years, then an animation teacher for the past ten — Alunima grew out of a real need in studios and schools, not a market opportunity.
